Vishva Natarajan
Research Assistant
Vishva Natarajan is a medical student at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. He received his MS degree in Bioinformatics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was recognized with the 2023 Outstanding Bioinformatics Student and 2024 Best Paper Awards. He previously published a first-author study that used molecular dynamics simulations and ensemble machine learning to understand how modification of a popular renal cell carcinoma drug target affects its drug-binding interactions. At the Hassanpour lab, Vishva is working on using generative AI to virtually stain brain specimens for rapid tumor profiling and streamlined patient care. Outside of research and medical school, Vishva loves trail running and rocking his electric guitar.
