Manu Goyal

Dr. Manu Goyal is currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Hassanpour Lab,Biomedical Data Science, Dartmouth College. Prior to this, he held a postdoctoral position in theDepartment of Radiology at UTSouthwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He earned his M.Tech.degree in computer science and applications from Thapar University, India.Dr. Goyal successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis titled "Novel Computerized Techniques forRecognition and Analysis of Diabetic Foot Ulcers." His research focuses on leveraging thepotential of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, specifically multi-model deep learning andmachine learning models, to revolutionize medical image analysis. His contributions to the fieldhave been substantial, with publications in renowned technical conferences and journals inmedical image analysis and computer science, including IEEE JBHI, Elsevier CBM, IEEETETCI, and SPIE Medical Imaging. Notably, his work has received over 1400 citationsaccording to Google Scholar.Due to his expertise in computer-aided medical diagnosis tools, Dr. Goyal has been invited toconduct peer reviews for esteemed journals and conferences in the field. These invitationsinclude IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, Medical Image Analysis, IEEE Journal ofBiomedical Health Informatics, and other authoritative publications.
